We have been in business for over 30 years. We are family owned and operated. In 1981, Allen and Susan Sanford, the owners, founded A-1 Pest Control Service, Inc., offering their services to residential, commercial and industrial clients in Tarrant, Johnson and Parker counties and all surrounding areas. As pet owners – they have owned four standard poodles – they understand the concern that clients might have in using pesticides. That is why the products we use are low-odor and low-impact.

As a professional building inspector for over 24 years and a certified FEMA disaster inspector, Allen has the knowledge and expertise to do the most thorough inspection of your property. He is also certified by the EPA in pesticide application and has access to an entomologist to ensure proper identification and treatment.  To assure home and business owners’ satisfaction, Allen has trained his technicians to follow his own high standards to complete comprehensive inspections.

Pest control programs are custom-designed for each of our clients and their individual pest control needs. We never suggest services that you don’t need. The technician that you meet the first time you use our services will be the same technician on return visits.
